Big Interview-Mixpanel Reporting

We rebuilt our analytics system and connected Mixpanel directly to the Big Interview Dashboard. This means the data you see now is more accurate, refreshed daily, and gives you a much clearer picture of how your users are engaging with the platform.

With the latest update, you can download your own analytics reports (last 3 months, 6 months, 12 months) anytime without waiting or emailing support.

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see that the Admin Dashboard consists of 3 tabs: Overview, Legend, and Download Reports.

Overview

The Overview tab is where the metrics are stored from April 2025 onward, including:

• New Users
• Logins
• Activity Breakdown
• Month-over-Month Activity
• Mock Interview Usage
• Video Curriculum Usage
• Resumes Analyzed
• Videos Analyzed

Click on each table for a detailed overview of the data.

Legend

The Legend tab explains what each metric means, and for your convenience, we’ve included the same details here as well.

New users

This shows how many people accessed Big Interview for the first time within your selected timeframe. The report includes the number of new users, their acquisition sources (e.g., search, social, direct), their locations, and basic behavior patterns. It’s a quick way to track growth and see how well your acquisition efforts are working.

Logins

This report tracks how often users sign into the platform over a selected period. It includes total logins, unique users logging in, login frequency, and trends over time. Use it to understand engagement, spot active user segments, and identify any access or authentication issues.

Overall Activity

This report gives a high-level view of user interactions on the platform within a chosen timeframe. It combines metrics like logins, page views, feature usage, time spent, and actions taken to show overall engagement and platform health. Use it to track trends, measure the impact of updates or campaigns, and spot areas for improvement.

Year-Over-Year Overall Activity

This report compares engagement metrics (logins, page views, feature usage, and time spent) between the current year and the same period last year. It highlights growth trends, seasonal patterns, and long-term changes, and helps you evaluate strategy effectiveness and user behavior over time.

Video Curriculum

This report shows how users engage with video lessons on the platform within a selected timeframe. It includes metrics like logins, video views, time spent, and feature interactions, helping you track engagement trends and see how users are progressing through the curriculum.

Mock Interview

This report tracks usage of the mock interview feature over a chosen period. Metrics include logins, mock interviews started, completed, and time spent. Use it to monitor engagement, identify trends, and assess the impact of updates or campaigns.

Resume Analyzed

In case your subscription includes Big Interview AI features, you will have access to Resume Analyzed and Video Analyzed metrics (via ResumeAI and VideoAI tools). 

Resume Analyzed report shows how users interact with the resume analysis feature. It includes metrics like logins, resumes submitted, feedback accessed, and time spent. Use it to understand adoption, engagement patterns, and how the feature is being utilized.

Video Analyzed

This report tracks how users interact with the video analysis feature. Metrics include logins, videos submitted for analysis, feedback viewed, and time spent. It helps you evaluate usage, monitor trends, and measure the feature’s impact on user activity.

Download Reports

In this tab, you can select which metrics you want to include in your report. You can download data for the past 3, 6, or 12 months.
