Accessing and Reviewing Practice Videos

There are three primary ways to access and review recordings in Big Interview. The method you choose depends on whether the user has invited you, or if you are an administrator looking for specific practice or assignment submissions.

Method One: User-Initiated Sharing (Via "My Videos")

Users can invite anyone (mentors, peers, or instructors) to review their practice sessions.

1. Navigate to My Videos: Log in to your account, hover over the Practice tab, and select My Videos.
2. Select & Share: Check the box next to your recording(s) and click the Share button to send an email invitation or copy a direct link.
3. Manage Privacy: To revoke access, return to My Videos and select Make Private.

• • Note: External reviewers see a simplified "Human Feedback" page and do not see VideoAI scores.

Method Two: Admin Search for Individual Users (Via "Users" Tab)

Admins use this method to proactively find a specific user’s entire history of practice, custom sets, and assignments in one place.

1. Search for User: From the Admin dashboard, go to the Users tab and search by name or email.
2. View "Visible Answers": Click View next to their name. In their profile, navigate to the Visible Answers section.
3. Check Visibility: Only videos the user has marked as Visible will appear here. Private videos cannot be played or rated.
4. Review with AI: Admins can see VideoAI metrics (if enabled) alongside their manual rating form.

Method Three: Admin Review of Assignments (Via "Assignments" Tab)

This is the most efficient method for admins to grade or track submissions for a specific class or project.

1. Go to Assignments: From the Admin dashboard, select the Assignments tab.
2. Locate the Assignment: Find your specific assignment and click its name.
3. Access Submissions: You will see a roster of users grouped by status (To Review, Reviewed, or In Progress).
4. Begin Reviewing: Click Review Now next to a user's name to open their submission.

• • Note: Unlike general practice videos, assignment submissions are shared directly with the assignment creator and do not require the user to manually toggle "Visible" status for that specific admin.
