VideoAI and Eye Tracking

,

Eye tracking calibration is no longer required in VideoAI, and eye contact won’t impact your score. Please note: feedback is only generated for responses that are 30 seconds or longer. Shorter responses won’t receive analysis.

When you open a Practice Set, Custom Set, or an Assignment that uses VideoAI, you’ll go straight to the questions and can start recording without any calibration step. You can also disable eye-tracking feedback in your account settings if you prefer.

Some users may not be able to make eye contact or may not wish to enable eye tracking in VideoAI.

While this setting can be disabled at either the individual or organizational level, you can manage your personal preferences directly within your account settings. Your score will not be impacted, and you will still get valuable feedback from the system in other areas.

Follow these steps to disable eye tracking:

  1. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
  2. Select My Account
  3. Uncheck the option for Enable Eye Tracking
  4. Click Update Profile.
