VideoAI and Eye Tracking

Good news—no. Eye calibration is no longer required for VideoAI.

When you open a Practice Set, Custom Set, or an Assignment that uses VideoAI, you’ll go straight to the questions and can start recording without any calibration step. You can also disable eye-tracking feedback in your account settings if you prefer.

Some users may not be able to make eye contact or may not wish to utilize the eye contact feature in VideoAI. This setting can be turned off for individual users or on an organizational level.

For individual users, you can disable eye tracking in your account settings. Your score will not be impacted and you will still get valuable feedback from the system in other areas.

Follow these steps to disable eye tracking:

  1. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
  2. Select My Account
  3. Uncheck the option for Enable Eye Tracking
  4. Click Update Profile.
